Long before Sam and Jordan ever met, their families were already connected. The Franks and the Nichols were close friends and both belonged to The Legends Clubs. Over the years, Sam had played plenty of rounds with Jeff and Ben (Jordan’s dad and brother) and Jordan had teed it up a few times and shared some laughs and meals with Joel and Lisa (Sam’s parents). Then came the day when fate stepped in. Sam was in town and on the tee sheet and set to golf with Jeff, Scott (a friend of both families), and Ben at The Legend of Bristlecone. At the last minute, Ben backed out and Jeff called in a “sub” to fill his spot, that sub was Jordan. Sam showed up and casually fired off a 62---not a bad way to make a first impression. But after watching Jordan play, Sam realized he might’ve just met his match! Somewhere between tee shots, laughs, and a lot of birdie juice, they exchanged numbers and the rest is history.

January 2024 marked the first of many trips to Arizona to escape the cold and visit Sam.

Sam pulled off the ultimate surprise and proposed where it all started--on the first tee at The Legend at Bristlecone.
